Hello and Welcome to the home page of Aquila Ranch & Kennels! We are fortunate to live on the North Oregon Coast, at "Trail's End" for Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery expedition. Their final camp, known as Fort Clatsop,is located on the Lewis & Clark River, in Warrenton.Their salt cairns, used, for making much needed salt, are located in Seaside. We reside between the two, enjoying the rich history and beauty of our surroundings. This area of Oregon is perfect for raising our Cairn Terriers. Our years of experience have led us to develop our blood lines for even temperament, intelligence, and structural hardiness. We fully expect our puppies to steal your heart and become active members of your family.

Although the name of our Web Site has not changed at the moment, we have decided,(after much thought and deliberation), to end our breeding program. Our wonderful and dedicated families, that have made our breeding program of the past so very successful, will always remain in our thoughts and hearts and we thank all of them, for their terrific support.

Remedy and Dudley, anticipating escape from lock-up. Waiting for treats and a mad dash to go in the house.
Remedy is our,"Miracle Dog"...... Her mother was unable to raise her, at birth,so she was brought into the house and we took over. We started a routine of feeding her, first, with a medical syringe of goat's milk, every 2 hours, around the clock, for the next 15 days. Then we were gradually able to increase her feedings to include an "infant bottle" and the time between her feedings. Our Oberhasli Dairy goats provided her with the much needed, nutritious milk. Today, she is a happy, healthy, member of our family! (And, self proclaimed, "RULER", of the Kennels!)
Typical of our Cairn Terrier blood lines..... Alert, expressive, intellegent!
